LEMOLO — One driver was injured but two others escaped injury in a three-car crash Wednesday.
The collision happened on Highway 305 at Totten Road, just west of the Masi Shop, shortly after 4 p.m. A 1999 Toyota Camry driven by a 42-year-old Suquamish woman pulled onto Highway 305 from Lemolo Shore Drive NE without yielding to traffic when and was struck by a 44-year-old Kennewick man in a Dodge Grand Caravan van who was heading south on 305.
The Camry then hit a 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK driven by a 73-year-old Bainbridge man that was on the other side of the highway on Totten Road.
The Kennewick and Bainbridge drivers were not injured. The driver of the Camry was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The Camry driver was allegedly impaired, according to the Washington State Patrol, and was charged with driving under the influence.
Both the Toyota and the Dodge were towed from the scene, and the highway was partially blocked for more than 90 minutes after the crash.
