The Great Peninsula Future Festival being held Aug. 1-2 in Port Gamble was conceived as a way to involve the entire community in thinking about sustainability — how our choices affect the future of our communities, our economy and our environment.

Festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1; 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2. Admission is $7 for adults; youth 13 to 18, $5; children 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
