POULSBO — Teofilo R. Dosono of Poulsbo died Jan. 4, 2012 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. He was 89.

He was born July 17, 1922 to Modesto and Nicolasa Dosono in Butir, Santa Maria, Philippines. He graduated from Ag-Agrao School. He and his wife, Juanita, were married April 1, 1946 in Santa Maria, Philippines.

He retired from NET Systems, Inc. on Bainbridge Island, which supplies trawl gear and services to the fishing industry. He and his wife lived in Bainbridge from 1978-1997, then moved to Poulsbo.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, being with family, and reading books and dictionaries.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita, of Poulsbo; daughters, Imelda Dosono (fiance, Francisco Fuentez), Natividad Dosono-Leitz (husband, Robert), and Teresita D. Barcena (husband, Francis); seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tomas, Leon and Felipe.

Funeral service will be held Jan. 14 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island.
