Kingston oughta be hopping this Thursday, and its annual hoop shoot is still many months away. Even so, residents will get the unique opportunity to bounce their questions and ideas off regional officials in the know during the Kingston Town Meeting.
Billed as “The One With All The Answers,” the annual gathering is highly anticipated. Kingston is a community on the grow, on the go and constantly aching to be in the know.
The Kingston Citizens Advisory Committee, which is sponsoring the event at 7 p.m. tomorrow at KJH, will do its best to ensure locals get what they came for as more than 25 county, state and community groups will be on hand.
Everything will be up for discussion — from the new high school to proposed passenger-only ferries — but it’ll all come down to public participation.
You have the ability to make this work, and the ability to leave officials from 25 county, state and community groups wasting a night. The smart move is the first one. Why not seek the answers to those questions that keep you up at night and rest easy?
There are no stupid questions after all. Except, of course, the ones that aren’t asked.
