PORT ORCHARD — The following Kitsap County roadways will be affected over the week of April 16-20 by construction and maintenance work by county crews:
SOUTH KITSAP
Maintenance work will be performed by county work crews at:
- SW Berry Lake between SW Old Clifton roads and Sidney Road SW, Monday-Tuesday
- Fraser Road SE between Wilson Creek Road SE and Tom Graham Lane SE, Wednesday
- Mayhill Drive SE between Mayvolt Road SE and SE Somerset Court, Friday
Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.
A portion of Colchester Drive SE, between Yukon Harbor Road SE and Miracle Mile Drive E, is closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while a new sewer conveyance system is constructed. Local residents are able to access their property during the closure but they can expect delays in doing so. A detour route is in place.
CENTRAL KITSAP
Road maintenance crews are doing regular maintenance work on these routes this week in Central Kitsap:
- Larson Lane NW between Seabeck Holly Road NW and Glory Lane NE
- NW Holly Road between Seabeck Highway NW and Seabeck Holly Road NW
- Seabeck Highway NW between NW Anderson Hill Road and Nichols Street NW
- Seabeck Highway NW between Lonerock Lane NW and Seabeck General Store
- Sherman Heights Road between Quarry Street and Earhart Street
Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.
Construction continues on Silverdale Way NW from 600 feet south of Byron to Anderson Hill Road. Expect intermittent delays in the immediate vicinity of the work. Flaggers are directing motorists through the work area. All businesses are open during construction but expect some delay. Plan ahead or find alternate routes to minimize inconveniences.
NORTH KITSAP
Road maintenance crews are doing regular maintenance work at this location this week:
- Hansville Road NE between NE 360th Street to NE Gust Halvor Road
- Flaggers will assist motorists through the work areas. Minimal delays of five minutes or less are expected.
- NE West Kingston Road is closed between Siyaya Avenue and South Kingston Road for bridge construction.
- Washington Boulevard NE has a 10,000-pound weight limit in effect.
