The following South Kitsap roads will be affected this week by repair or construction work:

ONGOING – E Main Street / E Madrone Avenue

(from the intersection of Beach Drive E and Spring Street E to Alaska Avenue E )

This road will be closed through September 16 for phase 3 of a continuing stormwater project there. Closures are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic will be detoured around the work. Plan for significant delays. Use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Click here for more information about this project.

NEW  – Bethel Burley Road SE (at the intersection with SE Oak Road)

County crews are repairing a guardrail here Thursday. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work area. Delays should be short, less than five minutes in the vicinity of the work.
