Time for the pomp and circumstance

Several area high school graduations will be happening this week.

Next week, high school seniors will be preparing to graduate. There will be caps and gowns, proud parents and groups of grads smiling for the cameras.

In Bremerton and Central Kitsap, eight high school graduations are scheduled. Here’s the rundown of details for those in attendance:

Bremerton High School: June 13 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Stadium, 1500 13th St., Bremerton.

Central Kitsap High School: June 12 at 7 p.m. at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.

Central Kitsap School District alternative high schools: June 13 at 2 p.m. in the President’s Hall at the Fairgrounds, 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.

Klahowya Secondary School: June 13 at 7 p.m. at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.

Olympic High School: June 14 at 7 p.m. at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.

Washington Youth Academy: June 21 at 9 a.m. at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, 1200 Fairgrounds Road NW, Bremerton.

For graduations at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, there will be open parking. Guests are limited and need tickets from students to attend.

Those attending graduation at Bremerton High School will have limited parking.
