Port Orchard Mayor Tim Matthes will host a pair of town hall meetings this month.

The first Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at City Hall, 216 Prospect St.

The mayor welcomes the public to come and discuss with him their goals and priorities for the city.

The second town hall meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at  Christ the Rock Community Church, 4100 SW Old Clifton Rd.

At the second town hall meeting, Matthes and Public Works Director Mark Dorsey will be presenting information on the McCormick Woods Park.
