Two suspects wanted for an Aug. 2 Manette robbery were caught and arrested Monday in Spanaway.
James Semore, 58, and Rhonda Lowder, 55, were found in Semore’s 1996 GMC pickup truck and apprehended by Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies after a report of a suspicious vehicle, Bremerton police detectives said.
County prosecutors had issued first-degree robbery warrants after the pair reportedly stabbed a man in the neck in his home on Winfield Avenue and 15th Street in Manette.
The two are now in Kitsap County jail. Semore is being held on $1 million bail, while Lowder is held on $100,000 bail.
Semore was sentenced to life in prison in 1975 after he pleaded guilty to killing a Federal Way couple in 1974, but served 30 years.
A Bremerton police detective said if Semore is convicted of first-degree robbery, it would be his third strike, leading to a life prison sentence.
