Two suspects arrested in Bremerton following March robbery, one suspect at large

According to police, the victim was tied up at gunpoint and forced to withdraw money from an ATM

Two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of a March robbery in which a victim was tied up and forced to withdraw money from his bank account at an ATM, according to Bremerton Police.

Detective Keith Sargent of the Bremerton Police Department said he believes the robbery was in regard to the victim owing the three suspects money. The alleged robbery took place March 2 at a local hotel in which a man was tied up at gunpoint and forced to take out money from an ATM.

According to Sargent, the suspects then took the victim to a park and threatened to kill him. BPD detectives obtained video footage from the ATM and linked three suspects who were involved.

Two of the suspects were spotted yesterday in the 1300 block of Marguerite Avenue before fleeing police. One was apprehended a short time later and the other surrendered at a nearby home. The third suspect remains at large, Sargent said.

The two suspects who were detained by police were booked into the Kitsap County Jail on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping and theft, with bail set at $500,000.
