With five suspects now in custody, two having been arraigned and charged in court, Kitsap County Sheriff’s detectives are focused on apprehending the two remaining suspects, still at large, in connection with a residential burglary to a home on the Hood Canal, west of Silverdale.
Felony warrants of arrest have been issued by Kitsap County Superior Court for the apprehension of Gregory L. Burton, 35, and Michael A. Carter, 27. The warrants are for residential burglary with bail set at $250,000 each. Both are known to reside in the King County and Snohomish County areas.
The burglary was discovered Jan. 12 by family members. Stolen property included a substantial amount of jewelry, clothing items, credit cards, electronic items and a 2008 Cadillac STS sedan. Total value of the stolen property exceeded $1 million.
Through the course of the investigation, sheriff’s detectives have recovered approximately $500,000 worth of the stolen property and the stolen Cadillac.
Two of the suspects in custody, Lori J. Devier, 51, and Jacquelyn A. Elzea, 20, were arrested by Kitsap County Sheriff’s detectives Jan. 25.
On Jan. 28, Devier and Elzea were arraigned and charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with residential burglary and first-degree theft. Bail amounts for both were increased by the judge from $100,000 to $200,000.
Kitsap County Superior Court warrants of arrest for residential burglary also have been served on Dylan Downey, 24, previously of Kitsap County and now of Everett; Stephen Sundstrom, 19, of Everett, and Phaalen Riall, 23, of Seattle, in connection with this investigation. The three suspects are in custody in the Snohomish County Jail on charges from law enforcement agencies and jurisdiction.
