POULSBO — The wireless company that “never stops working for you†will be working to answer questions about a proposed tower in Little Norway on Wednesday night.
Alcoa Wireless Services will host an informational open house from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Vinland Elementary School, 22104 Rhododendron Lane, to answer questions residents in the area might have about the project. City representatives will be on-hand to explain the permitting process.
Under the proposal, the company would lease a 3,000-square-foot area on the east side of Rhododendron Lane, north of the elementary school, to house a wireless communications facility.
The 120-foot single-pole structure would be screened through a combination of methods including the use of existing vegetation, new landscaping and a six-foot high sight-obscuring fence around the entire facility.
Questions about the proposal can be directed Associate Planner Randy Kline at (360) 779-3006 or Robert Renken of Alcoa Wireless at (425) 803-2183.
