Veterans of the Brookdale Montclair senior living community in Poulsbo, both residents and staff members, were honored Nov. 11 with a special ceremony, receiving pins and certificates for their years of service.

Veterans from different military branches were represented. For veterans who recently passed away, family members were present on their behalf to accept the recognition. The event also featured a cake-cutting ceremony, a POW table and music.
