Veterans observance Saturday at Retsil cemetery

Members of the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, in partnership with the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, will conduct a honorific ceremony Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery in Retsil.

The event will honor all soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines and coast guardsmen and women who served and sacrificed in past years.

Specially designated wreaths for the armed service branches will be placed on memorials during a 12 p.m. ceremony that will be conducted simultaneously at more than 1,000 locations across the United States.
