The Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified two people who died following two separate motor vehicle collisions that occurred last week.

The victim of the collision on Bethel-Burley Road in South Kitsap Dec. 23 was identified as 87-year-old Edward J. Mitchell, Jr. of Port Orchard. The victim of the collision on Viking Way in North Kitsap Christmas Day was identified as 19-year-old Edwin J. Vallecillo-Canales of Kingston.

Cause of death for both was multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death for both was accident, per the medical examiner.
