POULSBO — The Herald put out a call for your photos of Viking Fest, and quite a few answered!

Shaina Weintraub is a 2012 Kingston High School graduate, and just finished her first year at Central Washington University. She submitted several photos of the parade.

“My favorite part about Viking Fest is the parade and seeing the community come together for a couple hours and enjoy what’s in front of us,” Weintraub said in an email. “I really enjoy the marching bands, too!”

Ryen Stone of Silverdale also submitted a few photos of the parade. She sat with her young family — 2-year-old son Ryder and 3-week-old daughter Alston — and friends.

Thanks to everyone for submitting your photos!

Hughes (www.KelvinHughesProductions.com) is a video producer in Poulsbo and said he plans to cover large events on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas for a video production titled “Fly Like an Eagle” (www.iwanttoflylikeaneagle.com). He said Port Madison Enterprises is a sponsor, and hopes to “bring a greater awareness to tourism in our area.”

“The video I record is High Definition 1080p at 60fps, which gives me the ability to slow motion down” he said in an email.
