Volunteer Chore Services a program of Catholic Community Services is seeking volunteers throughout Kitsap County who would be interested in providing a little  help to low-income elders and disabled adults to help keep them in their own homes as long as safely possible.

With the help of community volunteers, Volunteer Chore Services can assist those that cannot afford to pay for the type of help they need, do not qualify for assistance elsewhere or do not have family or friends available to them.

Services VCS provides are: driving clients medical appointments or grocery store, run errand or shop for those that hare housebound, make minor home repairs, lend a hand with housework and build wheelchair ramps, install grab bars or other safety devices and assist with moving.

Mileage reimbursement is provided upon request.
