More felony charges were filed last week against a Port Orchard man already charged with child molestation in Kitsap County District Court.
Daniel Anthony Reyes, 47, was charged with three counts of voyeurism on Dec. 11, according to court documents.
Charging papers stated that more than 78,000 images and videos depicting minors either posed suggestively or positioned in a sexually explicit manner were found on computers and other electronic devices seized in August. Investigators found approximately 50 voyeur videos made by a hidden camera in the bathroom of Reyes’ home in the 5800 block of SE Pennswood Court.
A search warrant was issued and deputies collected several laptop computers, a desktop computer, cellphones and electronic storage devices for evidentiary purposes and forensic examination.
A first-degree child molestation charge was filed against Reyes on Aug. 27 involving a 10-year-old girl, according to court documents.The mother reported the incident to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office after her daughter said she was molested several times by Reyes.
Court records stated the victim told investigators that Reyes sent nude pictures of himself to her Facebook account. The victim’s iPod was handed over to deputies as evidence. Investigators viewed Reyes’ conversation with the girl and images.
Reyes is in the Kitsap County Jail on $50,000 bail.
