SUQUAMISH — The Wilderness Vets Foundation’s next meetup is scheduled on Oct. 15, 7-9 p.m., at Suquamish United Church of Christ, 18732 Division Ave. NE, Suquamish.

Wilderness Vets (www.libikavanah.com/Wilderness-Vets.html) is open to any active duty personnel or veteran of an active war zone.

The meeting is preceded by a free community dinner offered by the church.

“Please come and join us weekly for an evening of journeys into the wild spaces of our hearts, minds and body,” director Libi Kavanah said. “And, we have monthly field trips into ‘the wild’ — perfect for the nature walker or trail blazer.”
