POULSBO — Each year, Windermere Real Estate devotes one workday to making a positive change in the neighborhoods they serve through local service projects and volunteerism.

During this year’s Community Service Day — June 21 — Windermere’s Poulsbo associates will be landscaping and painting the exterior of Coffee Oasis, a nonprofit refuge and resource center for hopeless and hurting youth.

Poulsbo volunteers will be at Coffee Oasis at 780  NE Iverson St. in Poulsbo.

Windermere’s Kingston associates will be helping with some much needed projects to help improve The Village Green Park on West Kingston Road in Kingston.

Windermere’s Community Service Day was established in 1984.

Each year, Windermere agents, managers, owners and staff from more than 300 offices across the Western United States gather together and devote their workday to making a positive change in the neighborhoods they serve through local service projects and volunteerism.

Windermere’s Community Service Day has been recognized nationally as a model hands-on volunteer program and has been adopted by other real estate companies and businesses around the country.
