SUQUAMISH — Star Isha Kala Williams, 19, of Renton, is charged in Kitsap County District Court with forgery.

A Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputy was called to Clearwater Casino in Suquamish Jan. 14 for a check fraud.

According to the report, Williams entered the casino with a man and went to the cashier to cash a $1,760 check made out to Star Williams. During check verification, the man left the casino, followed shortly by Williams, leaving behind her check and her ID. The two drove toward Bainbridge Island, according to surveillance footage.

The deputy found the check account number was fraudulent.
