POULSBO — Tracy J. Tally, 41, of Bremerton, is charged in Kitsap County Superior Court with second-degree possession of stolen property.
According to the report, Poulsbo police responded to a burglary on Lincoln Road Feb. 1. The victim, a wedding planner, said the house where she was storing wedding supplies was burglarized. She said the stolen goods were valued at $1,300.
The victim checked Craigslist and found an ad for someone selling her stolen goods, “complete with pictures.” The contact phone was for Tally, who is known to law enforcement officers.
Officers contacted and subsequently arrested Tally on Feb. 4. Tally reportedly admitted to law enforcement she had the items, but said a man gave them to her to sell and had no idea they were stolen. The wedding supplies were recovered and returned to the victim, except for a few items Tally sold via eBay.
Tally was also arrested for trafficking in stolen property. She was booked into jail for possession of stolen property and contempt of court on $11,500 bail.
