POULSBO — Shawn Woodward, assistant superintendent of teaching and learning in the North Kitsap School District, is heading to Idaho after the 2011-12 school year.
Woodward accepted a superintendent position at the Lake Pend Oreille School District in Sandpoint, Idaho. Woodward’s last day with NKSD is June 30. Woodward began working in the district in July 2008.
He is the second administrative employee this year to accept a position in another school district. Aaron Leavell, director of secondary education in NKSD, accepted the assistant superintendent position in the Bremerton School District. He will begin his new job next school year.

Woodward earns $113,975 per year and $28,007.95 in benefits.
