In order to better serve how Kitsap County health care providers serve the public, a cross section of organizations met Tuesday in Bremerton to begin discussing a way to prioritize the county’s health care needs.
Called the Kitsap Community Health Priorities, the meetings are attended by a collection of health care providers, civic groups and public and private organizations, including Harrison Medical Center, the United Way and the Kitsap County Health District.
The meetings intend to collect and review the community’s health status, establish consensus on the county’s health priorities and create a plan to deliver services more efficiently.
The group expects to release a final plan in November.
