PORT ORCHARD — Students from across South Kitsap School District will showcase their talents at Young Artists in Action May 24 at South Kitsap High School.

The event will run from 5-8 p.m. at the school.

The yearly event celebrates the creative endeavors of South Kitsap students who participated in the Arts 4 Learning Project this year, said school district spokeswoman Amy Miller.

The free event is open to the public. An Art Gallery Walk will take place between 5-8 p.m. in the South Kitsap High School Commons. The dance program also will be featured there.

The district-wide elementary strings and high school orchestra with the high school’s wind ensemble will perform in the high school theater at 6:30 p.m.
