BREMERTON — A nationally acclaimed Youth Mental Health First Aid course will be offered August 12-13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Olympic Educational Service District, 105 National Avenue N.

The course is taught by Kitsap Mental Health Services staff certified as instructors through the national MHFA program.

A 5-step process is used to assess a situation, select and implement appropriate interventions, and to help an individual connect with appropriate care.
