Aladdin Justin Jr., 64

Aladdin Joseph Justin Jr., died at his home in Mukilteo on Aug. 31. He was 64.

He was born on July 5, 1946 in Seattle.

Justin was a proud Tribal Elder of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe. He worked as an operating engineer for more than 20 years and was a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents Aladdin Justin Sr. and Consuelo Justin.

He is survived by his sister Lucki Justin; four children: Roberto Cox, Connie Straw, Elena McGovern and Veronica Justin; four grandchildren: Angela Straw, Kyla McGovern, Justin McGovern and Jacob McGovern; and longtime companion Connie Wellman and her children Sa-Teela, Stella and Gary.

His funeral service was Sept. 9 at The Port Gamble Tribal Gym.
