Alice L. Biskeborn, 79

Allyn resident Alice L. Biskeborn died June 7, 2004 in Poulsbo. She was 79.

Biskeborn was born to James and Leah (Keisling) Lofland in Stafford, Kan. on Dec. 15, 1924.

She married Leonard L. Biskeborn on April 8, 1946 in Elko, Nev.

Biskeborn graduated from Great Bend High School in Great Bend ,Kan. in 1941.

She was a wife, mother and homemaker and helped build a family-run business.

Biskeborn enjoyed sewing, traveling and golf and was a life member and past president of the Lady Elks, local Chapter #1181.

Biskeborn is survived by her husband Leonard Biskeborn of Allyn; son Robert (Sylvia) Biskeborn of Pfafftown, N.C.; daughter Joyce (Ralph) Munson of Poulsbo; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Smith and grandson David.

Services were held June 11 at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton.
