Alma Eilene Morton, 85

Alma Eilene Morton of Poulsbo died July 22, 2004 on Bainbridge Island. She was 85.

Morton was born to Henry and Zella Mae James in Oak Creek, Colo. on July 29, 1918.

She married Robert Bruce Morton on Jan. 12, 1949 in Lafayette, Colo.

Morton was a housewife.

She enjoyed books, reading, painting, square dancing (Poulsbo Promenaders) and bowling.

Morton is survived by her husband Robert Morton of Poulsbo; son David Bruce Morton of Kingston; daughter Bobbi Jean Adams of Colorado; sister Ruby Chevalier of Colorado; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers William H. James and Roy H. James; and daughter Cheri Lynn Scheuer.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
