Ann Gallagher (Mary Ann Mangum) died January 10th, in Pullman Washington, where her loving daughter was caring for her. Ann was a long-time resident in the Eagledale community, and cherished the Island. Ann was born on February 20, 1937 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Eulice and Magdalene Mangum. She had a passion for gardening, and raising sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, and fostered several cats over the years. She worked at Vern’s Winslow Drug, where she enjoyed the social interactions with the Bainbridge locals for over 20 years. Ann is survived by her sister Lynn Merritt, brother Larry Mangum and her four children Walt, Vince, Meg, and Judd Gallagher, seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Due to her life-long love of animals, please consider a donation to the Kitsap Humane Society.
