Anthony ‘Bubba’ Jones-Leabo, 13

Anthony “Bubba” Jones-Leabo died July 14, 2004 in Silverdale. He was 13.

Jones-Leabo was born to Jackson Leabo and Kelli Jones in Bremerton on May 29, 1991.

He was attending Central Kitsap Junior High School in Silverdale and Sylvan Learning Center.

Jones-Leabo enjoyed spending time with his sisters, soccer, baseball, being with his good friends Richie and Mikey, his dogs and cats, playing video games and Legos.

He is survived by his mother Kelli Jones (Michael McDowell) of Silverdale; father Jackson Leabo of Poulsbo; sisters Kailee, Courtnee and Jessica; uncles Matt (fiancee Elizabeth) Jones, Aaron Wiitala, Jeff (Robin) Jones; aunts Kristi McDowell, Lisa (David) Pegg and Judy; grandparents Reese and Deborah Leabo, John and Rachel Jones, Brian and Sheri Wiitala, and Tom McDowell and Gail McGinnis; and a large extended family.

Jones-Leabo was preceded in death by his uncle Paul Pegg; and great-grandparents Jack Jones, and Marjorie and Ralph Leabo.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. July 21 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. An online memorial can be viewed at www.lewischapel.com.

Memorial donations may be made to youth soccer or baseball organizations or to Melissa “Kelli” Jones at the Silverdale Bank of America to offset burial expenses.
