Arlene F. Howe, 67

Arlene Faye Howe died Sept. 3, 2004. She was 67.

She was born Arlene Amundsen on Jan. 31, 1937 in Seattle.

Howe graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1955.

She Married Jack Howe on Aug. 18, 1956.

Howe worked for the Lake Washington School District for 26 years and was very active in many charitable organizations and her church.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and a beloved friend to many. Howe enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, traveling, boating and Sinclair Island in the San Juans.

Howe is survived by her son Larry (Kelly) Howe; daughter Debbie (Neil) Larsen; sisters Ardie Allen of Bainbridge Island and Marlene Salo of Poulsbo; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Howe.

A memorial service was held at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church on Sept. 11. Memorial contribution can be made to a charity of choice.
