Arthur R. Jacobs, 62
Arthur R. Jacobs of Poulsbo died Sept. 24, 2004 in Seattle. He was 62.
Jacobs was born to Marie Wengler and Arthur Jacobs in Potoau, Okla. on Sept. 22, 1942.
He married Vivian Chrisman on March 18, 1967 in Carson City, Nev.
Jacobs graduated from Stockton High School in Stockton, Calif. and attended Heald Business College.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966. He worked in civil service for 35 years at Moffet Air Force Base, Keyport-NUWES and Subase Bangor. He retired as a supervisor maintenance foreman.
He enjoyed classic hot rod cars, remodeling with his friends, trying new recipes and spending time with his family.
Jacobs is survived by his wife Vivian (Chrisman) Jacobs; daughters Danielle (Scott) McAfee of Seattle and Allison Jacobs of Jetta; sisters Carolyn, Marilyn and Adell.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marie Wengler and Arthur Jacobs and brother Paul David Jacobs.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at The Stone Chapel Poulsbo mortuary, 22272 Foss Road NE.
