Barbara G. Amos
Barbara G. Amos of Kingston died Jan. 21, 2007 in Kingston.
Amos was married to Lt. Col. Richard T. Amos, USA (Ret.).
She was a loving, caring mother and a devoted Army wife, who helped found Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pensacola, Fla. She also served as a volunteer church secretary and was one of the original special Ministers of the Eucharist.
She loved to sew and was a member of St. Olaf’s Catholic Church in Poulsbo and attended services at St. Peter’s Mission in Suquamish.
Amos is survived by her daughter Janice A. Hill of Kingston; sister Bernice Coleman of Little Rock, Ark.; and five grandchildren.
Amos was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Richard T. Amos, USA (Ret.).
Services will be in Pensacola, Fla. and she will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., home of the Blue Angels, with her husband.
