Bertha “Bert” Johnson of Poulsbo died Nov. 4, 2007 in Poulsbo. She was 56.
Johnson was born to Francis and Simone Brazier in Missoula, Mont. on Oct. 19, 1951.
She married Dennis Johnson on Nov. 6, 1970.
Johnson graduated from Renton High School in 1969. She also attended Green River Community College and University of Washington.
She worked as a bank teller for Seattle First and other banks, she and her husband owned and operated a 7-Eleven in Bellevue for five years and later started a commercial real estate development company called Fairwind Properties. The company developed and managed a number of shopping centers and office buildings. She was also the CFO for Tinseltown Video. Johnson enjoyed running, cooking, sailing and entertaining friends in the kitchen.
Johnson is survived by her husband Dennis; sister Christine (John) McMullen; and her dog Annie.
Arrangements are being handled by Cook Family Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Seabold United Methodist Church, 6894 Seabold Church Road on Bainbridge Island. A reception will follow at the Johnson residence.
