Brad Dagel

Bradley R. Dagel, Issaquah, died Jan. 18 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He was 39 years old.

He was born July 21, 1962 in Freeport, Ill. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1980 and from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1984. He received his master’s degree from the University of Oregon in 1986.

In 1984, he married his high school sweetheart, Jill Peters, of Freeport.

He worked for several years in corporate recruiting and co-founded a business in 1989. Most recently he worked in international freight forwarding.

His interests included photography, fly fishing, boating, camping and traveling. He was an avid baseball fan.

He is survived by his wife Jill; son Nicholas (age two and a half); parents Don and Lois Dagel of Kingston; brother Mark (Allison) Reak of Seattle.

A memorial service and gathering will be held Jan. 26 at 12:15 p.m. at Kingston Cove Yacht Club, 25915 Washington Blvd., Kingston (at the Kingston Marina). Remembrances may be sent to the Nicholas Dagel Fund, Washington Mutual Bank, 1195 NW Gilman Blvd., Issaquah 98027.
