Carol Burchard, 76

Former Poulsbo resident Carol Burchard died July 7, 2007. She was 76.

Burchard was born in Salem, S.D. on Sept. 6, 1930.

She married Ronald Burchard.

Burchard owned a business in Poulsbo called CJ’s Sew Shop for 15 years, doing alterations and making custom clothing.

She is survived by her son Steve (Sara) Burchard in Wheatridge, Colo.; daughters Susan Gunderson of Bremerton, Pamela (Keith) Wicker of Falcon, Colo. and Debra (William) Schmidt of Falcon, Colo.; four siblings and six grandchildren.

Burchard was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Burchard and her brother.

Services were held on July 14 in Colorado Springs, Colo., with a Latin Requiem Mass in Salem, S.D.
