Catherine ‘Kay’ Charleston, 89

Catherine “Kay” M. Charleston died March 6, 2007 in Bremerton. She was 89.

Charleston was born to Walter Lindsay and Grace Evelyn Wood in Enterprise, Oregon on March 16, 1917.

Charleston worked in the shipyards in Portland, Ore. during World War II. She was involved in printing and advertising sales in Oregon and Washington.

Charleston is survived by her sons Walter G. (Gloria) Yeager of Poulsbo and Victor L. Yeager of Bartlett, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
