Charles L. “Larry” Fletcher died Sept. 28, 2003 in Poulsbo. He was 71.
Fletcher was born to Jim and Vera Fletcher in Lynn, Mass. on Aug. 12, 1932.
He married Emily Veno in Poulsbo.
Fletcher served with the Marine Corps from 1949 to 1970, achieving rank of staff sergeant. He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
He worked in civil service at the Naval Undersea Warfare Training Station at Keyport for 15 years, retiring in 1996.
Fletcher participated on the Senior Volunteer Patrol in Poulsbo.
Fletcher is survived by his wife Emily (Veno) Fletcher; sons Jim, Michael and Steve; daughters Kathleen, Rebecca and Diane; brother Willis “Bill” Lynch of Peabody, Mass.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 4 at the Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton. Interment will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
