Corrine Magnuson

Corrine Magnuson, 71

Former Suquamish resident Corrine Magnuson died March 21, 2005 in Phoenix, Ariz. She was 71.

Magnuson was born to Frederick and Mollie Nicholl in Denver, Colo. on Jan. 2, 1934.

She married Harold M. Magnuson on June 4, 1954 in Denver, Colo.

Magnuson graduated from Englewood High School in Englewood, Colo. where she was a drum majorette.

She worked as a dental assistant in Dr. James MacFarlane’s office on Bainbridge Island and then as a real estate agent at Deschamps Real Estate.

Magnuson enjoyed gardening, ice skating, ceramics and lapidary work. She was always interested in the history of the area where she lived. She was also active in her local garden clubs and enjoyed time with her great-grandchildren.

Magnuson is survived by her husband Harold Magnuson of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters Deborah J. (Ed) Ward of Allyn and Rebecca S. Vlist of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Frederick (Jeannie) Nicholl of Lakewood, Colo.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
