Daniel Sweeny, 52, of Poulsbo, Washington, passed away on November 10, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1971, in Modesto, California. Dan is survived by his mother, Verona, and father, Gordon, as well as his sons, Connor, Logan, and Owen.

Dan graduated from Willow Glen High School in San Jose, CA and continued his education at San Jose State University. He was very patriotic, proudly served in the Army National Guard, and was deployed overseas.

Dan was actively involved in the Bainbridge Island community for many years through his participation in Tyee Nation, his role as a youth sports coach, and various other community activities.

Dan worked as a Business Development Manager at ThyssenKrupp Elevator for 20 years, excelling in his role and providing exceptional service to his clients. He had a passion for surfing, sports, and traveling the country with his beloved dog. Dan found joy in the waves, mentoring others, and exploring new places.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kingston Christian Church, 11255 NE 2nd St, Kingston, WA 98348 on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Please join us as we honor and remember Dan Sweeny, a cherished son, father, and friend.
