Dora A. Andersen, 95
Dora A. Andersen died Nov. 30, 2003 in Poulsbo. She was 95.
Andersen was born to Herman and Almira (Witter) Karow in Morristown, Minn. on Dec. 14, 1907.
Andersen married Jess Hurd on May 1, 1924 in Fairbault, Minn.
Andersen was a loving housewife and mother. She loved to play pinochle at the Kingston Senior Center and liked to travel and spend time with her family.
She was a member of the St. Barnabas Evangelical Episcopal Church of Bremerton.
Andersen is survived by sons Neil (Debra) Hurd of Poulsbo and Luther E. Hurd of Florence, Ore.; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Anderson was preceded in death by her husband Jess Hurd, sister Vergie and son Gerald D. Hurd.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
The burial will take place at 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. The Stone Chapel of Poulsbo is taking care of the arrangements.
