Doris M. Armstrong, 76

Poulsbo resident Doris May Armstrong died Jan. 7, 2007 in Bremerton. She was 76.

Armstrong was born to John and Julia (Freeman) Kosmecki in Portland, Ore. on Jan. 16, 1930.

She married Russell G. Armstrong on July 7, 1955 in Stevenson.

Armstrong graduated from high school in Portland, Ore.

She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling with her family, sending cards on birthdays and holidays and was a big Mariners fan. She also was known as a bit of a prankster.

Armstrong is survived by her husband Russell Armstrong of Poulsbo; son Russell J. (Kelli) Armstrong of Marysville; daughter Russy (George) Minder of Port Townsend; and seven grandchildren.

There will be no services at her request.
