Edna M. Evenson of Poulsbo died Nov. 7, 2003. She was 96.

Evenson was born to Nels and Agnetta Oen in Vinland on Aug. 29, 1907.

She married Harry Evenson.

Evenson attended Mountain View Grade School in Vinland.

Evenson operated the Vinland Grocery Store until 1944 when the Bangor ammunition depot took over the property.

Evenson was preceded in death by her husband Harry Evenson; son Eugene Evenson; four brothers; and seven sisters.

Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at Miller Woodlawn in Bremerton with a memorial service following at 1 p.m. at Vinland Lutheran Church.
