Eleanor Magnuson, 91, of Poulsbo, WA, passed away on January 31, 2021. Born on September 6, 1929 to Angus Arthur and Dona (Corun) McGinnis, Eleanor went on to graduate from Ballard High School in Seattle. She married John E. Magnuson in October of 1950 in Seattle, WA, and became a loving housewife, helping to raise 3 children. Eleanor held memberships in Children’s Orthopedic Hospital Guild, Monday Morning Hikers, and Silver Sneakers Exercise Program, and in her spare time also enjoyed making time for sewing, knitting, gardening, hiking, and reading. Eleanor was married to John for 52 years, and he was the love of her life. Eleanor’s memory will live on with three children; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
