Eleanor P. Chaussee, 74

Kingston resident Eleanor P. Chaussee died March 17, 2005 in Kingston. She was 74.

Chaussee was born to Christopher and Nora (Holm) Oie in Duluth, Minn. on Jan. 14, 1931.

She married Kenneth Chaussee on Sept. 25, 1948 in Port Orchard.

She attended high school in South Kitsap.

Chaussee was a devoted homemaker and housewife. She attended Christ Memorial Church. Chaussee enjoyed flower gardening.

Chaussee is survived by her husband Kenneth Chaussee of Kingston; sons Gary, Mike, Terry, Scott, Dean and Jason; daughters Sharon and Jenny; brothers Henry and Cline Oie; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

No formal services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel.
