Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Morrison, 78
Elizabeth Ann “Betty” (Reiman) Morrison died Aug. 8, 2006 in Kingston. She was 78.
Morrison was born to Benjamin and Anna Reiman on April, 9 1928.
She was raised in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1945 and from Pacific Lutheran University in 1949.
She married Archie Morrison in 1950 and taught at Maple Leaf Elementary for six years.
She was a musician and peace advocate who loved gardens, birds and adventures. She had a natural ability to connect with people, and maintained a wonderful sense of curiosity throughout her life.
Morrison is survived by her son Tom (Susan Bennett) Morrison; daughters Mary (Jed Jedrzejewski) and Anne Morrison; companion Peter Haward; and two grandchildren.
Morrison was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Anna Reiman; brother Donald Reiman; and husband Archie Morrison.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 24 at Luther Memorial Church, 13047 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle.
There will also be a celebration of Morrison’s life in Kingston in the near future which will be announced at a later date.
