Else Ruth Oswald of Kingston died March 31. She was 78.

She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1931 and married in 1951 to Fred Oswald.

The Oswalds lived in California for many years until retiring to Kingston in 1983. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church.

She was predeceased by sister, Marda Balyk, and brother, Eric Zech.

Surviving are her husband, Fred; sister, Margaret Gesell; daughter, Karen Addy (David); son, Michael (Karen); daughter-in-law Jeanine Heeney; grandsons, Dan, Brandon (Megan), Marc; granddaughter, Barbara; and many nieces and nephews. An online guest book is available at www.tuelmckeebremerton.com.
