Emilia Miller, 95

Emilia Frieda Miller died Oct. 31 in Poulsbo. She was 95.

Miller was born to John and Magdelina (Grosz) Kusler in Kulm, N.D. on July 14, 1907.

She married Novel Miller on Dec. 23, 1939 in Seattle.

After her marriage, Miller was a homemaker who liked to garden and sew. She also enjoyed her family and church-related activities.

Miller is survived by daughters Shirley (Dan) Radecki of San Jose, Calif. and Beverly (Tom) Layton of Poulsbo; sister Adeline McCloy of Cambridge, Minn.; and six grandchildren.

Miller was preceded in death by her husband Novel Miller in 1972; parents John and Magdelina (Grosz) Kusler; three brothers and seven sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 6 in Morton and then at 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo. A private inurnment will be held at Morton Cemetery in Morton.
