Esther S. (Van Stone) Pahrmann of Tracyton died March 13, 2008 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. She was 95.

Mrs. Pahrmann was born on March 1, 1913, in Hope, Idaho to Enoch and Mamie Van Stone. She lived in Hope until she moved to Bremerton to marry John Pahrmann on March 20, 1933 in Port Orchard.

Mrs. Pahrmann was a founding member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club and a member of the Mere Dance Club. She enjoyed gardening and loved to swim.

Mrs. Pahrmann is survived by her two sons, Donald (Evie) and Kenneth (Diane) Pahrmann of Tracyton; two daughters, Ileen Adkins and Rita (Art) Kubert of Tracyton; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and her husband, John.

A memorial service is planned for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at Peace Lutheran Church. A graveside service for family members will be at Tracyton Cemetery.
